The Top Five Things I am Going to Do Post Lockdown (assuming we ever get out of it!)
I have been putting a lot of thought into my Top 5 Things I am going to do Post Lockdown. This list has moved around, been deleted, reinstated and way too much thought has gone into it. Number 1 of My Top 5 Things I am Going to Do Post Lockdown (hereafter known as T5TIAGTDPL). Clearly during Lockdown I have spent too much time in zoom meetings with organisations that rely on abbreviations. Also, too much time deciphering what on earth they mean.  Anyway, I digress!

Number 1 of T5TIAGTDPL (Top 5 Things I am going To Do Post Lockdown)

My Top 1 of things I am going to do post lockdown is seeing Tam, my daughter. I have missed her so much and need a hug. Speaking on the phone or via a screen is just not the same.  Those who know me will ask what about my son or my mum? Son came back home to live as soon as lockdown part 2 was announced. It has been a joy (once we got past the whole adjustment to three adults in the house). Mum, I am in regular contact with as one of her carers. We have enjoyed some wonderful conversations that usually we are too busy getting to appointments to delve into deeply.

Number 2 of T5TIAGTDPL (my top 5…)

The second thing of Top 5 Things To Do Post Lockdown that I want to do is to go out and eat a meal that I haven’t thought about, cooked, prepared and done the dishes of. Yes, there has been some delicious takeaways and deliveries but I am not a woman that enjoys eating out of plastic (anymore).

Number 3 of T5TIAGTDPL (things I am going to do)

Number 3 of Top 5 Things To Do Post Lockdown will most likely be combined with my 2nd. Meeting up with friends over a meal whilst drinking a glass of wine (or coffee, not terribly fussed).  The breaking of bread that you haven’t cooked, the wine you haven’t poured should not be underrated. The company of others that are not my partner should also not be underrated. I can’t wait to laugh and chatter not via a screen.

Number 4 of T5TIAGTDPL (is lockdown ever going to end?)

Fourth thing of Top 5 Things To Do Post Lockdown. GO SOMEWHERE THAT IS NOT WITHIN 5KS OF MY HOUSE   I love my house and I love where I live. I am sick to death of looking out my office window and seeing the same beautiful view of lots of green grass, a myriad of bird life, the dog and my car. Picky I know but it’s been a long, long time.

The final thing on my Top 5 Things To Do Post Lockdown, I am going to do post lockdown…it’s a toss up. New clothes. Travelling to somewhere more remote than Melbourne. Travelling to Melbourne. Catching a tram. Going to the NGV. Going to the Australian Ballet. Going to a movie. Visiting every National Trust Home in Victoria starting with Ripponlea.
National Trust Home
This is why my list keeps changing.  Maybe I should have created: T10TIAGTDPL (Top 10 things…)? Hopefully, I will see you soon – outside of my 5k radius.  If you are looking for a change of home then I can help you anywhere within Victoria. I can help you buy and I can also help you sell. Independent advice, always with your end goal in mind.

WHOOPS! So excited to get out of lockdown I forgot that I had written this! Lol! When you find a draft post and realise that it was never posted and some time has now passed.  Well, I did most of the above, still intending to visit somewhere else – day trips only so far.
As we know now, real estate in Victoria is back with a vengeance. Currently, I am working with a number of first home buyers and first home sellers. My clients vary in age, location and experience. I love my job.  Buying or selling or both using an advocate ensures you get great guidance and independent advice.  The money you invest in an advocate is money that you haven’t lost through rushing into action without understanding the process. I appreciate the value that I bring to my clients.
