SOUNDING BOARD.
DO YOU NEED A REAL ESTATE SOUNDING BOARD, AN EXPERT TO ASK?
You are exploring real estate, you have questions and I have the answers. I listen and give you guidance as you need.
Buying or Selling can be confusing and you need advice. Using me as your Sounding Board is more affordable than taking the Advocacy path. Of course, you can transition to that path if you need.
- Book your free 15 minutes where we investigate what you need.
- Book your follow up call, where we dive deeper into your question (s). 45 minutes may be enough time for you to pick my very experienced real estate brain or you can book another call if you need.
- You may book more than 1 session. They are generally prepaid, however may be invoiced weekly beyond the first prepaid call. I do limit them to 45 minutes because beyond that we are losing focus and neither of us wants that.
So, you have real estate questions, I have real estate answers
(If I believe that you should be speaking to someone else, then I will tell you and guide you to that person).
Explore Your Options and Sounding Board Meet-Ups are booked using the following booking system.
EXAMPLE OF A SOUNDING BOARD SESSION
Prue is a confident, well educated woman however all previous sales and purchases were done with her late partner. She wanted someone independent that she could run things by. Prue didn’t need me all the time, she was happy to do her own searching and viewing of potential homes. Researching and insights into the process, the words used by real estate agents and what her offer and terms should be on a Contract, were areas where she used SOUNDING BOARD sessions.
Prue really valued the assistance and confidence boost that the Sounding Board sessions provided and she is delighted with her new home.
EXAMPLE OF A MEET UP
Sally had spoken with a number of real estate agents before she selected the agent to sell her home. Sally hadn’t sold before and wasn’t aware of my existence when she was struggling through the getting ready to sell and agent selection process, until she was chatting with a friend over coffee and talking about how stressful and time consuming the process was.
Sally had already signed an Authority to Sell with an agent and we needed to keep that in mind during our chats. My role in this scenario was not to undermine the agent but to explain any gaps in communication, further processes and to provide independent advice. Sally had a great home but with a few tweaks we made it more appealing. Understanding what was next also gave Sally peace of mind, understanding the agents motivation and how it could work with her own motivation also helped.
Prior to our conversation, Sally felt she was in the dark and that the real estate agent was manipulating her. Having worked as a real estate agent for more than two decades, I thoroughly understood both the agents path and Sallys. Meeting up with me, improved her confidence and smoothed the path somewhat for the agent.
The final outcome was a solid result and a good relationship with her chosen real estate agent, both outcomes had already been in jeopardy before my involvement.
I love it when it all comes together, such an amazing feeling.
